The City of Saint John is always looking for ways to grow its population and it’s hoped a new initiative will do just that.
It’s called “Succeed and Stay” and gets its name from two questions that will be asked of newcomers who have successfully integrated themselves into the Saint John community.
Why did you stay in Saint John? And, How can we replicate your success with newcomers?
Three levels of government, the city, the province as well as the federal government are contributing more than $577,000 towards the initiative that comes out of the 2018 Population Growth Framework revealed last year.
This three-year project is also supported by Develop Saint John, UNB, Economic Development Greater Saint John and the Saint John Local Immigration Partnership.
More details about the project will be made in the coming weeks with a more formal announcement
