Martha Stewart would say, “It’s a good thing.”
True North Seafood has announced a collaboration with Sequential Brands Group to develop a new product line with the lifestyle mogul’s name.
In a press release, Martha Stewart says while visiting True North’s salmon farms near her Skylands home in Maine, she saw first-hand their innovative and industry-leading methods of sustainable farming and fishing.
“Their passion for the environment and community is why they are one of North America’s largest and most trusted producers of fresh farmed and wild caught seafood from the Gulf of Alaska to the Atlantic.”
CEO of Cooke Inc, Glenn Cooke said they are thrilled to be launching the new product line in partnership with Martha Stewart.
“It is great for us to be able to work with Martha’s team to bring delicious, well though-out meals to all tables, even those who have busy schedules and minimal prep time.”
The True North Seafood Company runs under the Cooke family of brands.
The Martha Stewart for True North Seafood product line will pair a number of seafood products with a Martha Stewart signature butter flavour or spice blend.
The full line includes Atlantic salmon with lemon herb butter, sockeye salmon with miso butter, Wild Alaska pollock with Southwest spice blend, and a seafood medley made with Wild Alaska pollock, Atlantic salmon and Bay scallops with herb spice blend.
Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing with True North, Andrew Young say the line is all about convenience and quality product.
“It is a perfect option for existing seafood customers while encouraging new customers who may not be as comfortable buying or preparing seafood to shop the category.”
The Martha Stewart for True North Seafood product line will launch in March 2019, and be made available through US grocery retail stores in May 2019.
The line will also be showcased at the Seafood Expo North America in Boston from March 17th to March 19th.
