A majority of New Brunswick voters are satisfied with the overall performance of the Progressive Conservative minority government, according to a new poll by Corporate Research Associates.
The Higgs government has also established a commanding lead in popular support after capturing a narrow victory in the provincial election.
Among decided voters, 42 per cent support the Tories, which is up considerably from the last poll in November.
Support for the Liberals has dropped slightly and so has support for the Greens and the People’s Alliance, while the NDP remained stable.
One-quarter of the electorate are undecided about which party to vote for if an election were held today in the province.
