Many families whose children have been born at the Moncton Hospital are upset amid a criminal investigation involving a registered nurse.
Horizon Health has heard from more than 40 patients since the weekend.
On Saturday, details were released about a nurse in the delivery unit who allegedly had inappropriately administered a labour-inducing drug called Oxytocin.
The drug was administered without consent and caused two patients to require an urgent C-section.
If patients have any concerns, they are being urged to contact Horizon at 1-844-225-0220.
Officials confirm the nurse has been fired and can no longer practice in New Brunswick.
Horizon adds the actions of one individual do not define the level of safe and quality care the health network provides.
RCMP are investigating the incident and so far no charges have been laid.
