The provincial Green party held its convention and annual AGM on the weekend in Beresford and according to the executive director, there were a lot of new faces.
Marco Morency says that people are coming to the Green’s after supporting other parties in the past.
Morency says “To be totally honest at some point in my life I was with the NDP so are a lot of members but I guess they feel now the Green party is really the vehicle for change in New Brunswick.”
Morency says they are very thrilled to have named Carolle de Ste. Croix as the vice-president Francophone for the party.
“She has been involved locally, a diversity of sectors, wildlife, to health and local organizations, her background is the best you could imagine,” stated Morency.
Carolle de Ste. Croix is a former Liberal deputy speaker and MLA from Dalhousie-Restigouche East.
