NB Liquor has released its sales figures for the fourth quarter.
In the fourth quarter ending March 31, they increased almost three million over the same period last year with a total of almost $93 million.
The sale of coolers and ciders increased over 21 per cent.
Spirits were up just over 4 per cent.
Total sales for the quarter were $92.9 million, 2.8 per cent higher than the quarter ended April 1, 2018.
Key product sales trends for the fourth quarter (Dec. 24, 2018 – March 31, 2019) compared to the fourth quarter last year (Dec. 25, 2017 – April 1, 2018) were:
- wine sales increased 1.1 per cent, up $ 200,000;
- spirit sales increased 4.3 per cent, up $1 million;
- beer sales increased 0.7 per cent, up $ 300,000; and
- coolers and ciders increased 21.3 per cent, up $1 million.
