This summer, several Uptown streets in the entertainment district will allow overnight weekend parking at meters.
Saint John Parking Commission says this will only be applicable on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights until October 31st.

It’s meant to be a deterrence to impaired driving.
Those parking in between King to Duke street and Water to Charlotte street will not be ticketed for leaving their cars parked at a meter after a night out.
