Hollywood legend, singer and animal welfare advocate Doris Day has died.
The news was confirmed today on the Doris Day Animal Foundation website.
It says Day passed away early this morning at her Carmel Valley home, having celebrated her 97th birthday on April 3.
Day’s life’s work included music, films, and animal advocacy, beginning her professional singing career at age 15.
