The Asian Heritage Festival continues in Saint John all month and Saturday will see a real special event beginning at 4 PM for those who like the Indian-style musical movies known as Bollywood.
Somiditya Das is Director of the Saint John Asian Heritage Society and says McAllister Place is the location for this fun event.
“We are having a Bollywood Dance workshop in partnership with Bollywood Dance Studio inc. and they are limited to 30 people but others who show up can stand around and watch and see how people learn the steps,” stated Das.
At each event held this month a draw will take place to select people to go on an Asian Food Crawl.
Das mentioned “We can accommodate 30 people on a bus to take them to three Asian restaurants,Splash, Vivaldi’s and Thai Pho.”
This is the 11th annual Asian Heritage Fesitival put on by the Saint John Asian Heritage Society.
