Norm Couturier says this is a chance for a lot of communities to celebrate startups and perhaps even broaden their horizons.
“We have pitch competitions , start up stories get-togethers and networking events, to wrap your head around it think of it’s like the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival with the communities as the tents and the startups as the bands,” stated Couturier.
One of the highlights is the Canadian Export Challenge which has a $2,500 prize and a chance go to the regionals and possibly nationals for this event.
Rivers Corbett is the Opportunities New Brunswick Entrepreneur-In-Residence and says anyone who is looking to do their own startup, just needs to go to startupnb.ca and begin their own journey and ONB will connect them to the right people.
