You will see a large amount of trucks and transports being pulled over in the next 72 hours as New Brunswick takes part in International Roadcheck 2019.
They are going to be looking for safety violations, unsafe loads, dangerous goods being improperly transported and more in Canada, The United States and even Mexico.
There will be commercial enforcement staff all over the province but the Salisbury weigh station and inspection facility near Moncton will remain open for 72 hours.
Along with Commercial Enforcement there will be staff from Public Safety, Transport Canada Dangerous Goods Directorate, the Department of Finance, Canadian Food Inspection Agency, RCMP and municipal police forces.
Public Safety Minister Carl Urquhart stated “International Roadcheck is an important opportunity to highlight the importance of ensuring safety on our highways. Together, we all have a role to play in ensuring the safety of the public.”
