The People’s Alliance of New Brunswick continues to grow after making inroads in the last election, according to leader Kris Austin.
The party held its annual general meeting on the weekend and Austin says they had a good turnout and have some new party members because of it.
“It’s been quite significant. I know just at our AGM we signed up 14 new members on Friday night,” stated Austin
Austin says they have also made a lot of gains in popularity around the province.
“I have talked to our membership coordinator and she was saying we saw pretty significant increases since September, so it looks like we are seeing some growth and overall it seems to be moving in the right direction,” stated Austin.
There are now three MLAs from the People’s Alliance in the legislature.
