A 19-year-old man from Dieppe has died following a collision in Moncton, N.B.
Just after 2 a.m. the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a call of a collision between a motorcycle and a van at the intersection of Mountain Road and Mapleton Road.
The collision is believed to have occurred when the southbound van attempted to turn left onto Mapleton Road and was struck by the northbound motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene. The driver and sole occupant of the van was not injured.
RCMP believe speed may have been a factor in the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
