What do you consider to be the best and most unique aspects of your neighbourhood?
The city of Saint John wants you to share pictures of them as part of the #mysaintjohn Love Your Neighbourhood photo blitz.
Nancy Moar, a special projects manager with the city, said they are looking for some hidden gems.
“We know that we’ve got beautiful, iconic photo opportunities in the city, but we also know we’ve got very specific neighbourhoods and specific things in their neighbourhoods that people would love,” said Moar.
The photo blitz was launched last Monday and will run for a total of three weeks. Moar said it is a continuation of two other initiatives the city ran last fall.
“In September, there was another photo blitz — Love My City — launched and we had over 100 submissions and over 1,000 likes for that,” she said. “We continued with a second campaign that featured Saint Johners themselves on video.”

Moar said the goal is to promote some of the positive aspects of the city — one of the common themes during the recent budget simulator exercise.
Staff hope to collect several photos from the over 30 neighbourhoods throughout the city.
You can upload your photo onto the thread pinned at the top of the city’s Facebook page or email it to communications@saintjohn.ca.
