Parking spaces uptown are being impacted by this weekend’s Area 506 music festival.
Those who park monthly in the Water Street/Coast Guard building lot have been temporarily relocated to Lower Cove Loop or Exmouth Street lots.
Daily and hourly parking also won’t be available in the Water Street lot.
Parking can be found in the following lots: Market Square, Peel Plaza Garage, Red Rose, Trinity Royal, Sydney Street, Charlotte Street, or the upper level of the Canterbury Street Garage.
Overnight parking will be available uptown as well, from King and Duke Streets to Water and Charlotte Streets.
The festival will also impact noise levels uptown, with the city allowing for a temporarily lift to noise restrictions for the weekend.
Additionally, restaurants and bars on the Boardwalk will have extended hours this weekend, staying open until 3 AM.
