Flags are flying at half-mast in the United States after two mass shootings killed at least 31 people in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio.
A vigil was held Sunday night for the nine killed and more than two dozen injured in Dayton early that morning.
Dayton Police say the suspect, a 24-year-old man, was also killed.
Investigators say they do not expect to know the shooter’s motive for some time.
#OregonDistrict #update Chief Biehl: We don't have the answer as to "why" and probably won't for some time. This will be long and tedious investigation.
