The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax was involved in a rescue operation at Fundy National Park early Friday morning.
Major Mark Gough says a JRCC helicopter was dispatched around 6 a.m. to a remote location in the park.
He says a Parks Canada first responder on an ATV was injured and needed medical attention.
Major Gough says the man was lifted up into the helicopter and flown to hospital.
He says more information is expected to be released later.
