The track and field area is scheduled to open in mid-October.
The Field House will allow for traditional field sports like soccer, football and frisbee but also sports you don’t expect to play on a field like judo, fencing and cricket.
It also includes an indoor facility for track and field with areas for training in shot put and javelin.
“The space will bring so much energy to Saint John and the east side,” explained Bill MacMackin, President, Greater Saint John Field House. “We invite community members to get involved and explore new turf.”
