The Village of Gagetown is holding its High and Dry Festival this weekend and one big event that will no doubt get plenty of attention is the Flood Expo.
The area has been hit hard by flooding two years in a row and the local Chamber of Commerce President Paul Mennier says lots of information will be available.
Mennier stated, “The owners of Lang House Bed and Breakfast are hosting a number of experts from 10 AM until 1 PM Saturday, Bruce and Marion had a devastating flood in 2018, they installed a water in-water out system and that greatly reduced their costs this year when they were flooded again.”
“It is informal and there won’t be any speeches, there will be items on display and anyone who is interested in flood mitigation or construction techniques and live on a flood plain can just go and talk to these experts one-on-one,” stated Mennier.
