A 32-year-old man from Kingsclear First Nation has been charged with murder in connection to the death of 19-year-old Corey Sisson.
Sisson was reported missing on July 30th. His remains were found in Noonan just outside Fredericton on August 10th. His death was being investigated as a homicide.
Robby Mitchell Polchies, who was arrested by Fredericton Police on unrelated charges earlier this week. Mounties say he was a suspect in Sisson’s death.
Polchies appeared in court today and has been charged with first-degree murder.
He has been remanded into custody and will appear again in court next month.
The investigation is ongoing.
