Over 15 types of sunflowers will be featured during the first edition of the NB Sunflower Festival.
The festival runs Friday to Sunday at the Green Pig Market in Salisbury.
Owner Steve Gallant says they’ve planted 15 different kinds of sunflowers for visitors to enjoy.
“We’ve got small yellow ones, bright orange ones, multi-colour, we’ve got black, Moulin Rouge and all shapes and sizes,” he said.
With every purchase of admission, you get to pick your favourite bloom to take home with you.
Gallant says there will be activities for kids, live entertainment and wine sampling for the adults.
“You’re able to come enjoy the sunflowers, listen to some great bands and even sample some wine from Magnetic Hill Winery is going to be there serving from noon until close on Saturday and Sunday,” he said.
If you can’t make it this weekend, you’ll also get a chance to participate next weekend.
