There is a happy ending in the search for a missing 87-year-old woman from Havelock.
On the evening of Aug, 27, the RCMP said Hazel Clark had been located in the area safe and sound.
Police did not release any other details about where exactly she was found.
Clark was last seen leaving her home on Springhill Road around 10 a.m. Sunday.
Her disappearance prompted a massive searching involving RCMP officers, police dogs, a drone, and four ground search and rescue organizations.
Police thanked the public for their help in locating Clark.

Mounties have released new information in the search for a missing 87-year-old woman from Havelock.
Hazel Clark was last seen walking along Route 880 towards Creek Road between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Sunday.
Police said the sighting came hours after the elderly woman left her home on Springhill Road.
Clark was seen wearing a white blouse with blue or green pants, which is different than what she was previously believed to be wearing.
Members of the Southeast District RCMP, as well as the RCMP’s Police Dog Services, the RCMP’s Air Services drone, and the Tri-County and Greater Fundy ground search and rescue teams, have been scouring the area.
Clark is described as being about 5’9″ tall, weighing about 160 pounds. She has short, wavy, grey hair, hazel eyes, and wears glasses.
Anyone in the area of Route 880 and Creek Road early Sunday evening who may have seen someone walking along the road is asked to contact the Riverview RCMP at (506) 387-2222.
