Tucker Park Beach in Millidgeville will be getting some accessibility upgrades.
A new accessible dock, signage and walkways and ramps will allow people with disabilities or mobility issues to better enjoy the beach.
Saint John-Rothesay MP Wayne Long announced a $29,250 contribution for Tucker Beach on Monday.
The funds come from the federal government’s Enabling Accessibility Fund, which aims to eliminate accessibility barriers.
Since 2015, the EAF has supported over 2,000 accessibility projects across the country.
