The group known as 100 Women Who Care In Greater Saint John is hoping to surpass the $600,000 mark in donations after tonight’s meeting.
The more than 250 members who may attend will be donating $100 each for a big donation.
First off the group will hear how L’Arche Saint John has used the $24,300 it received in February.
Then three local charitable organizations will each give their pitch in hopes of receiving the big cheque.
To date, 25 local charitable groups have received $599,190 since the group was founded.
