An investigation is underway after a fatal collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Shediac Bridge on Sunday night.
RCMP say a 79-year-old woman was killed when she tried to cross the road.
Police say a southbound vehicle struck the woman on Route 134 just after 8:30 p.m.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
