Steeplechase runner Geneviève Lalonde of Moncton is really on a roll with numerous incredible performances recently.
Fresh from a gold medal and setting a new record at the Pan Am Games in Peru, Lalonde has been named to Team Canada for the upcoming World Championships in Qatar later this month.
She is among 49 athletes and 24 staff selected to represent Canada.
Lalonde also has a gold medal and a new record from the Canadian Track and Field Championships.
She also broke her own national record and placed 6th at a world meet in Shanghai, China.
In Qatar, Lalonde will compete in the 3,000-metre steeplechase heats on September 27 and the finals are scheduled for September 30.
