The restoration work continues in southern and eastern New Brunswick after Dorian’s wrath on the weekend.
More than 10,000 NB Power customers remain without power as of 1 p.m. Monday. That is down from more than 80,000 customers at the height of the storm Saturday evening.
About 1,000 of those customers are in the Kennebecasis Valley/Fundy region, while fewer than 50 are in Kings and Queens counties.
The utility said more than 140 crews have been mobilized to get people back on the grid.
Restoration efforts will continue throughout the evening and into tomorrow. Assessments will continue and estimated time of restoration will be updated accordingly. We thank everyone for their patience while our crews work to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. pic.twitter.com/7HtGNQxXJK
