Prime Minister Justin Trudeau plans on launching the federal election Wednesday, according to several media outlets.
They indicate Trudeau intends to visit Rideau Hall at 10 a.m. Wednesday and ask the governor general to dissolve parliament.
That means official campaigns will be underway for the next five weeks, leading up to polling day on October 21.
In 2015, the election campaign lasted for 11 weeks.
It’s time!
Election will be called tomorrow!
