If you haven’t received your voter information card yet, Elections Canada says it’s in the mail.
The cards are mailed to each registered elector with details on when and where to vote.
If you have not received your card by October 4th, or if it has wrong information, you can register or update your address online or by calling Elections Canada.
To vote on October 21st, electors must show proof of identity and address.
The voter information card may be used as a proof of address, but another piece of identification will be needed.
You don’t need to bring the card with you to the polls in order to vote, but Elections Canada says it does speed things up.
More information can be found online.
