A 29-year-old woman has been arrested after an incident uptown Friday morning.
Around 5:30 a.m. Saint John Police responded to a call near St. Joseph’s Community Health Centre.
Two employees were unloading a delivery truck, when a woman attempted to steal some items from the cab of the vehicle.
When confronted, she pulled out a weapon and ran off.
Police found her a short while later with the help of the K9 unit.
The woman faces multiple charges, including assault with a weapon and possession of stolen property.
She will appear in court later on Friday.
