One person was killed and two more injured in a crash in Moncton last night.
Around 11:20 PM, Codiac RCMP responded to a report of a head on collision between two vehicles on Lewisville Road in Moncton.
One vehicle had flipped upside down, and another was on the side of the street. Both vehicles sustained significant damage.
Occupants of the vehicle were extracted by fire crews. Two males were sent to hospital with serious injuries.
The female passenger of the flipped car, an 80-year-old woman from Dieppe, died at the scene.
Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
