A heads up if you plan on driving into Saint John from the Kennebecasis Valley on Friday.
The Route 1 westbound off-ramp to Rothesay Avenue, along with Route 100/Rothesay Road under the CNR overpass, will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure says crews will be paving and doing electrical work for future traffic lights in the area.
Department officials say similar periodic closures will be required before the project is completed.
