A man has been arrested after stealing a wallet from a car Saturday night.
Around 11:45 p.m., Saint John Police responded to a theft from a vehicle on Broad Street, where a wallet and other items were stolen.
Around 2:25 a.m., the credit card inside the wallet was used at the Esso on Rothesay Avenue.
The vehicle seen leaving the Esso was then stopped in the Haymarket Square Area.
The passenger was in possession of the wallet and credit card, and was arrested.
He is being held for court.
