A number of NB Power customers are still without power after Friday’s wind storm.
Just over 1,400 people are without power, but those numbers are quite a bit down from Saturday’s 14,000, and are continuing to drop.
The Kennebecasis Valley is the most impacted, with around 800 people still in the dark.
NB Power says the event caused widespread damage, with the outages caused mainly by trees making contact with power lines.
Over 155 crews are mobilized across the province to assess damage and restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
The Emergency Measures Organization also has a few charging stations opened across the province, including the Q-Plex.
Nov. 2, 6:45 p.m.
Charging centres:
Welsford, 619 Eagle Rock Road, open until 11 p,m,
Quispamsis, Q-Plex, 20 Randy Jones Way, open until 8 p.m.
Rothesay, 65 Hampton St., open until 8 p.m.
