Winter has already been here for the last couple weeks but what does the rest of the season have in store for Southern New Brunswick?
The Weather Network has released its predictions for December, January and February.
Meteorologist Nadine Powell says temperatures overall are expected to be fairly close to normal.
“In terms of precipitation, perhaps with a more active storm track we may see a bit more rain and snow.”
Powell says water temperatures remain relatively warm in the Gulf and the Atlantic.
She expects that will help intensify storms moving up the coast and bring lots of moisture.
Whether we get rain, snow or a combination of both, Powell adds that will depend on which side of the storm track New Brunswick is on.
