A family of seven is temporarily homeless after a weekend fire northeast of Fredericton.
The Canadian Red Cross said the blaze broke out on Lower Durham Road near Durham Bridge on Saturday.
The fire was mostly contained to one room but caused considerable smoke damage throughout the home, the organization said.
A couple and five children, aged three to 11, are receiving help from the Red Cross.
The family was away at the time so there were no injuries. No word yet on a cause.
