The New Brunswick NDP will choose their next leader on June 6th, 2020.
Party officials unveiled details of the leadership race in Fredericton over the weekend.
Candidates can start campaigning from now until the polls close in June.
The vetting process for prospective candidates will begin February 28th and the nomination deadline is May 4th.
Jennifer McKenzie stepped down as leader in February and the party scheduled a leadership convention for August, but had to scrap it after the lone candidate failed to pass the vetting process.
Officials say more than 10 people have already expressed interest in participating in the latest race.
