Two men and one woman have been arrested after the seizure of drugs and weapons in Saint John this week.
On Monday, police say a search warrant was executed at a home on the east side.
26-year-old Codie Myers and 23-year-old Jamin Hector face a number of drug and weapons charges, including possession of cocaine and hydromorphone, and possession of a loaded and restricted firearm.
28-year-old Cayla Burley is also charged with several drug and weapons offences, including possession of cocaine and hydromorphone, possession of a firearm, and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
Myers, Hector and Burley are in custody and will be back in court this week for a bail hearing.
According to a news release, the Saint John Police Force’s Street Crime, Patrol Services and Canine Units have executed warrants at multiple residences in the city over the past several months, resulting in the seizure of:
- Two tasers
- Six handguns
- 16 long guns
- Over three kg of cocaine with a street value of over $200,000
- Substantial amount of Canadian currency
- Pills
- Multiple vehicles
- Over $20,000 of stolen property
- Three bulletproof vests
