Saint John police say one person is in hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 7.
Police say a car and a tractor-trailer travelling toward the city collided near Exit 90 by Crane Mountain just after 10 a.m. Friday.
Spokesperson Jim Hennessy said the driver of the car was taken to hospital and is in stable condition. The driver of the truck was checked over by paramedics.
Hennessy said the highway was closed for just under an hour while crews cleared the scene.
Police said the cause of the crash is still being investigated.
Update on Highway 7 crash. SJPF called to Exit 90 heading into SJ just after 10am to find a vehicle and transport collided. 1 person taken to hospital in stable condition.
Investigation into the incident continues.
