The new session of Parliament begins in Ottawa on Thursday.
New Brunswick will be well represented with some new and familiar faces.
Saint John-Rothesay MP Wayne Long is back for a second term, along with Beausejour’s Dominic LeBlanc.
LeBlanc, who is taking on the ceremonial role as President of the Queen’s Privy Council, is returning to Ottawa after lengthy treatment for non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
His doctors are confident he is in remission.
Also returning is Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe Liberal MP Ginette Petipas Taylor, the former health minister.
Conservative MPs Rob Moore and John Williamson are back this term after losing in 2015.
Newly elected Green MP Jenica Atwin is one of three Greens with a seat this term.
With just 157 seats in the House of Commons, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will need support from the other parties to get anything passed.
