New Brunswick’s unemployment rate fell slightly in November, even with fewer jobs in the province.
The latest labour force survey from Statistics Canada shows the province added 100 part-time jobs and lost 500 full-time positions.
But the unemployment rate dropped to eight per cent from 8.1 per cent in October as fewer people looked for work, according to the report released Friday.
On a year-over-year basis, total employment in New Brunswick and the unemployment rate remained steady.
