If you spent some time in PEI last Christmas, you could be holding onto a $1 million lottery ticket.
The Atlantic Lottery Corporation announced a winning 6/49 ticket purchased in Charlottetown on December 22nd, 2018 still hasn’t been claimed.
In a release, the ALC say they’ve been raising awareness for the last year on the ticket and fear it won’t be claimed before it expires this Sunday.
“Ensuring that players receive the prizes they are entitled to is of utmost importance for Atlantic Lottery,” said the release.
The Corporation says the winnings will be given back to players in the form of bonus prizes if not claimed.
The ALC is urging anyone who think they may have the ticket to call their customer care centre by the end of the day.
