If you’re heading out to ring in the new year, you’ll want to dress accordingly.
A messy mix of snow and rain is on the way for parts of New Brunswick on New Year’s Eve.
Environment Canada is calling for between 15 to 30 centimeters of snow across the province and up to 20 millimetres of rain for the southern region.
Snow is expected to develop Tuesday morning and spread to all of the province by late Tuesday afternoon.
Environment Canada says snow will gradually change to rain over southern New Brunswick Tuesday night into Wednesday morning but should persist as snow over the northern sections well into Wednesday.
They say the timing and mix of precipitation could impact those travelling on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day.
