The city is now accepting applications for its Community Grants Program.
The program provides much-needed funding for local non-profit organizations and helps them with the delivery of social, cultural and recreational activities.
Funding will be available in three categories: organizational support; community projects and special events.
Up to $60,000 in eligible funds are available.
The deadline for the applications is next Monday.

Potential Changes Coming
There are possible changes coming to the Community Grants Program in 2021, as council explores sustainability cuts to balance its budget.
The city is proposing combining the three funding categories into one, and will also explore a restructuring of available funds.
City council will vote on whether the changes will come into effect in March.
