Wednesday’s snowfall has led to slick roads and travel problems across much of southern New Brunswick.
Environment Canada says the snow will continue in Greater Saint John until overnight Wednesday night.
The national weather agency says some areas could pick up more than 10 centimetres of snow by the time it ends.
As of 7 p.m. Wednesday, Highway 1 is partly snow-covered with slushy patches from the Canada-U.S. border to River Glade, according to the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure.
Highway 7 is also partly snow-covered with slushy patches and fair visibility from Saint John to Fredericton.
As expected, the snow has started. Roads and sidewalks are slick so easy on the gas pedal and small steps for the walk to the office.

Police said roads and sidewalks are slippery so drivers and pedestrians should use caution.
Saint John Transit says some routes may experience delays or detours due to the road conditions.
The Saint John Airport is reporting some delays and cancellations so you will want to check ahead if you have a flight scheduled for Wednesday.
