Saint John police say they have arrested two people after a pair of incidents uptown.
Spokesperson Jim Hennessy said they were called to Brunswick Square around 1 p.m. Friday for an alleged assault involving a small group of teens.
“A large crowd gathered to watch and when officers arrived on scene most had fled the area,” said Hennessy in a news release.
Hennessy said a suspect was picked up a short time later and no one was seriously hurt.
Just before 2 p.m., police were called to the RBC building on King Street for reports of a rock being thrown through a window.
Hennessy said one person was taken into custody and no one was hurt.
“Officers continue to speak with staff of the building as the investigation is ongoing,” he said.
Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call the Saint John Police Force at 506-648-3333.
