The Conservative leadership race is now officially open.
Hopefuls for the leader position are now able to apply for a spot on the ballot, with applications open until the end of February.
The federal Conservatives are out with the rules for candidates, which include collecting a total of 3,000 signatures and paying $200,000 in fees over the next two months.
Party members will vote for Andrew Scheer’s replacement and the winner will be announced on June 27.
