The Department of Health lifted a water advisory Friday for the industrial park water system in Minto.
That includes the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home and Queens North Community Health Centre.
The advisory was put in place on Dec. 23 following a tire fire at the TRACC tire recycling facility.
Dr. Na-Koshie Lamptey, regional medical officer of health, said there is no evidence of contaminated drinking water as a result of the fire.
“Enhanced monitoring plans to continue the assessment of any potential health risks from this incident are under development,” said Lamptey in a statement Friday.
Public health officials are working with the Department of Environment and Local Government to review a shallow groundwater monitoring plan and a potable water monitoring plan recently submitted to the government.
They said these plans will establish a monitoring system which will inform officials of any movement of chemicals away from the site before they reach any wells used for drinking water.
