A Fredericton man has been charged following an investigation into images of child sexual abuse on the internet.
Members of the RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit searched a home on July 24th, 2019 where electronic devices were seized, and a 34-year-old man was arrested.
William Logan Murphy was charged with accessing and possessing child pornography during a court appearance in Fredericton, N.B. on December 18th, 2019.

Murphy returns to court in Fredericton on January 29th to enter a plea.
The ICE Unit includes members Saint John and K.V. police forces and the RCMP Digital Forensic Services Unit.
The Fredericton Police Force were also involved in the investigation.
