A 22-year-old man made a court appearance in Saint John Thursday in connection with a lockdown at the Irving Nature Park.
Colton Benjamin Stiles has been charged with flight from a peace officer but police said they expect to lay more charges.
The Irving Nature Park was shut down for nearly eight hours Wednesday after a vehicle crashed into its gates around 2 a.m. and got stuck in the woods. The driver eventually surrendered to police.
Saint John police were warned by the RCMP about a vehicle heading their way “at a high rate of speed”.
Stiles is due back in court on Monday for a bail hearing.
